The mission of the Zoological Society of Kewaunee County, Inc. (ZSKC) is to provide an educational opportunity to all visitors of Bruemmer Park Zoo. The educational mission stresses an understanding of and respect for all living things. We seek to enhance and promote a dignified and aesthetically pleasing environment for all the animals living at the Zoo.
Specific Objectives and Purposes
The Zoological Society of Kewaunee County, Inc. is a corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The specific purposes of the Society shall be to promote interest in and support of Bruemmer Park Zoo. Specific objectives include encouraging membership in ZSKC, assisting in the activities of the zoo and sponsoring such activities which seem desirable with the input and approval of the Kewaunee County Promotions and Recreation Department Director and/or committee.

The members of the ZSKC shall be those who pay the annual membership dues. Members of the ZSKC shall be invited to attend all meetings. Meeting notices will be posted on the meeting tab of this website. Each member in attendance and in good standing is entitled to vote at the annual meeting in February. Any member desiring to serve or to nominate another to serve as an officer or on the board of directors shall notify a member of the Nominating Committee for consideration.
